Studio Hiyaku is derived from the Japanese concept of “Hiyaku” or “Leap”. A symbol of kinetic energy, an upwards motion, an endeavour towards elegant design.

Our design studio and team is based in Sydney and aims to provide a personalised tailored service to suit each client and their individual needs. Our goal has always been to provide high quality architectural solutions from concept design to final delivery.

Our design is stable, minimal, yet unrestrictive. An open box, ready to be filled with creative energy. Timeless, Modern. Leap Ahead.

Design Concept

From hand sketches to 3D renderings, our design team is able to provide inspirational concept designs covering the initial phases of the project. We walk the clients through our design thinking and provide atmospheric renders that enables them to see, feel and better understand the spaces we are creating for them.

Architectural planning is a key part in delivering a good design. We aim to maximise space and create enjoyable architectural environments no matter the size of the project.

Design Development

Following the design concept phase, the conceptual ideas of the project must now begin to take real form. We make sure that the initial ideas are achievable in the final product. We work together with the client, consultants and nominated builder to finalise the design direction.

Finishes & Furnishing

Studio Hiyaku is well connected with local and international suppliers of high quality materials. Our office houses a material display library and we invite and encourage the client’s to come in and get hands on with the physical material. We keep updated with the newest materials in the market.

With our vast experience on local and interstate building applications, Studio Hiyaku offers all design related documentation. This includes Complying Development Certificate documentation, Development Application documentation and interior joinery documentation.

Construction Quality

We take the construction process very seriously and always aim to achieve the desired result expected by the client. With constant communication and on-site checks, we aim to minimise building and detailing errors in the construction process.
